Our Staff

“My vision of the future is no longer of people taking exams and proceeding on that certification…but of individuals passing from one stage of independence to a higher one, by means of their own activity, through their own effort of will, which constitutes the inner evolution of the individual” - Maria Montessori, 1948

All of our teaching staff are trained and qualified Montessori teachers (also known as Directresses/Directors). Some staff who work in the capacity of assistant directresses or classroom assistants are still in training. We are a diverse group of teachers and assistant teachers.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a high level of professionalism, ensuring we keep ourselves well-informed on government policy in education as well as keeping ourselves abreast of new research and developments in the field of education.

All of our teaching staff are registered with SACE (South African Council for Educators) and collective have more than 100 years experience in Montessori teaching.

Our head teaching staff serve as mentors to student interns who are completing their Montessori teacher training through Integral Montessori.
